She strives to provide clients with the knowledge and skills to lead a healthy lifestyle through safe and effective exercise, smart sustainable nutrition, and sensible lifestyle choices that include all areas of health and wellness.

Amy believes in dedicating time to developing healthy habits to live a better quality of life. A healthy and active lifestyle is achievable for anyone at any point in their life. Amy is also a certified Yoga Teacher and integrates the practice of Yoga into her training style. She believes the body is built to move and by creating a balance of ease and effort, will continue to move through your lifetime.

Ariel is a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for empowering individuals to live their healthiest and most functional lives. With a diverse background in personal training, CrossFit, and physical therapy, Ariel brings a unique blend of expertise to the table, making a profound impact on the lives of those she works with.

Ariel has a level 1 weightlifting certification and is currently working towards her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the NSCA.

Lucas Abreu

CPT

Lucas is a dedicated personal trainer, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, and physical therapy student. With 8 years of lifting experience and 3 years of coaching, he specializes in working with athletes and individuals from various backgrounds.

Lucas’s passion for fitness extends to his studies as he pursues a degree in physical therapy at UMass Lowell. With his expertise in training, combined with his knowledge of rehabilitation and injury prevention, Lucas provides comprehensive guidance to help clients achieve their fitness goals while prioritizing their long-term well-being.
Coach Chris Barnes

Chris Barnes

Chris is an ASFA-certified personal trainer. Chris enjoys training athletes and those who may be first returning to the gym from injury. He works part-time in the on-site physical therapy clinic as a PT Aide, making him a great trainer for those who have just finished rehab. Chris is a full-time student at Umass Lowell working toward a bachelor's degree in clinical Exercise Science before going to physical therapy school.

Gabriella has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Merrimack College. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM certified Nutrition Coach.

Gabriella holds a Level 1 certification from Precision Nutrition am is currently working on her Masters Degree in Health and Wellness through the American College of Healthcare Sciences. She enjoys functional training and giving individuals the opportunity to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in doing day-to-day activities.
Coach Matt Saporito

Matt is a dedicated and highly motivated Certified Personal Trainer with a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Matt has been interested in and practicing resistance training since he was 15 years old, having trained friends, family, and a handful of clients through his fitness journey.

Matt became more interested in fitness after COVID-19, as he found that training kept him motivated and mindful, not only for the physical health benefits but for mental health as well. Matt is eager to share that process with others whether it is getting back in the groove of a training program or starting from scratch.

Reesee Burrus

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR,

As a NASM CPT and Corrective Exercise Specialist, Reesee enjoys working with people to help achieve their fitness goals. Whether singing while instructing a Group Fitness class or doing functional integrated training with her clients, she loves to keep people moving while making it fun!

As “the” veteran of the club, she believes loyalty is key for success. One of her favorite mottoes is, “Consistency is Key” with exercise for long term benefits. Outside the gym, Reesee is an avid traveler, and looks forward to her annual trip to the Caribbean all year long.

MASTER PERSONAL TRAINER

Bob has been working as a Master Personal Trainer at the club for the past 13 years. He is also an educator (CEU provider) for the National Academy of Sports Medicine and hosts the Health & Fitness Podcast "Body Talk" which features interviews with health professionals worldwide.

Physical Therapy Assistant of Club 600

ANDREA WEGNER

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT, PERSONAL TRAINER

Andrea earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Pre-Medical studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before earning her Physical Therapist Assistants degree from North Shore Community College in 2011. While at UMass Amherst she also played on the Division I tennis team.

The experience of playing Division I athletics and dealing with several surgeries, Andrea understands the importance of rehabilitation and physical therapy to return to a normal healthy lifestyle. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is able to combine her Physical Therapy knowledge and Personal Training knowledge when working with clients.
